The Chan Jin wen 禪晉文 (Composition of Abdication to Jin) was a Chinese text written for the abdication of Wei to Jin. The text was written by Cao Huan 曹奐, Emperor of Wei at that time.

Bits of information[]

Cao Huan lived from 246 to 303. He reigned Wei from 260 - 265. In 265 he abdicated the throne to Sima Yan 司馬炎, son of Sima Zhao 司馬昭, who then founded the Jin Dynasty. It was at this time that the Chan Jin wen was written.
