Biography[]

In the late 170's Chen Shao was Grand Administrator of Cangwu commandery in Jiaozhi, which was at that time a region subject to an Inspector, and not a province (Jiao province).

When the Wuhu rebel Liang Long was causing rebellion, Chen Shao was one of two Han officials to join him. In 181 the newly appointed Inspector of Jiaozhi, Zhu Jun 朱儁, was sent to deal with the rebels. Chen Shao was his first victim.[3][4]
