Hua Xin 華歆 was an advisor during the Three Kingdoms period. He served the Han, Liu Yao and Sun Ce, among others, but ended his career serving Wei.

Biography[]

Hua Xin was the Head of "The Dragon" a group of three scholars. Hua Xin spent his early years serving Yuan Shu, he soon betrayed Yuan Shu for Liu Yao. He then joined Wu after Sun Ce defeated Liu Yao. He participated in a few battles under Wu. Hua Xin decided to join Wei for the resources there. Hua Xin participated in the Battle of Hefei along with Zhang Liao. Hua Xin later died in 231 A.D. at Xuchang.
