Tower Defense Sanguo Zhi (塔防三國志 Ta Fang Sanguo Zhi, "Tower Defense Records of the Three Kingdoms") is a freemium tower defense game based on the Records of the Three Kingdoms released by Morefun Technology Limited for Android on April 2017.
Gameplay[]
The game has two main gameplay modes, Instance Dungeon and Duel. Instance Dungeon is the main tower defense mode used in the story. Before each battle the player sets generals on the posts available, and the generals will do their best to prevent the advancing enemy forces from reaching the scenario's "tower", an important area or person, like Emperor Xian of Han 漢獻帝. The battle is won when all enemies are defeated or other objective is completed, and it is a failure if the tower is destroyed. Enemies vary from historical figures like the Yellow Turbans to mythological creatures like jiangshi, and some battles have a boss. The Duel mode is an automatic combat mode where the player's generals fight one by one against the opposing force, another group of generals or a giant boss, until one side wins.

The characters the player can use. The player starts with Yue Yao and Yue Jin, and more can be obtained in the story, in the gacha, or by other means. Each general has a set of skills with varying effects, and they can be enhanced in different ways to become stronger.

- Many generals have stronger variations, most having different appearances, and the strongest also having a title, like Wu Emperor Sun Quan 吳帝・孫權 and Divine Dragon Zhao Yun 神龍・趙雲. Some generals also have skins.
- Lü Meng 呂蒙 is the only general that lacks a version without a title.
